1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use our app:

Authentication Data: When you log in using Auth0, we receive your name, email address, and picture URL.
Profile Data: If you have a Community license and opt into sharing, we may store your name and picture for display to other Community members.
User-Generated Content: This includes details about your cigar and pipe collection, cellar inventory, and journal notes.
Metadata: We may store timestamps and other metadata alongside your user-generated content.

We use the information we collect to:

Identify you internally using your email address.
Display your name and picture within the app (if you opt in for Community sharing).
Enable you to track your cigar and pipe collections and journal entries.
Improve app performance and user experience.

All web traffic is encrypted using TLS.
Your email address is stored in a hashed format for security purposes.
Session data is retained only while you are logged in and discarded upon logout.
Persisted data (including collections and journal notes) is stored securely in a MongoDB Atlas database.

Third-Party Services: We use:
- Auth0 for authentication.
- Stripe for processing payments (we don’t store payment details).
- Vercel for hosting and app performance monitoring.
Community Sharing: If you have a Community license and opt in, your name and picture may be shared with other Community members.
We do not sell or share your personal information with other third parties.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Once deleted, this action is irreversible, and all data will be permanently removed from our systems.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app.
