• Subscription and Payment Data: Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store payment details, but Stripe may retain them for billing and regulatory purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To identify you internally using your email address.

• To display your name and picture (if you have opted into Community sharing).

• To allow you to manage your cigar and pipe collections and journal entries.

• To improve app performance and user experience.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Data is stored securely in a MongoDB Atlas database.

• All web traffic is encrypted using TLS.

• Email addresses are stored in a hashed format.

• Session data is discarded when you log out.

• Profile and collection data are retained until you request deletion.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

• We use Stripe for processing payments and Vercel for monitoring performance.

• If you have a Community license and opt in, your name and picture may be visible to other Community members.

• We do not sell or share your data with third parties beyond those required for authentication, payment, and performance monitoring.

• You can request deletion of your data at any time.

• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

• Upon deletion, all personal and user-generated content will be permanently removed from our systems.
